July 30, 2020 Update

With the move to Phase 3 we have been able to adjust our protocols and allow more access to the clinic.

Pets will be allowed to bring one healthy human into the clinic with them as long as they wear a mask.

Curbside care is still available.  See below for the updated protocols.

COVID-19 Procedures

Our ultimate goal amid this crisis is to keep your pets healthy while maintaining the health and safety of our staff and clients.

As a result, we have implemented a number of changes to reduce exposure and limit the spread of disease.

Veterinary Appointments

Routine wellness visits are now available along with urgent and emergency cases.

Option #1

You may now choose to come into the hospital but we ask that only one person accompany each pet

Masks must be worn by all humans (pets exempt unless making a fashion statement!)

You will be directed to one of our exam rooms where one of our technicians will discuss your pets health and concerns from a safe distance.

Your pet will then be taken to the larger treatment room for the exam with the doctor while you wait in the exam room.

One of our caring staff members will hold your pet during the exam as it is not feasible for the doctor to maintain appropriate distance from anyone holding an animal for examination.

Option #2

We will continue to offer curbside appointments for anyone wishing to stay outside of the building.

When you arrive, call us from the car and one of our staff members will come out to speak with you and take your pet into the clinic for examination.

The doctor will then speak with you over the phone to discuss the findings and recommendations.

Food, Medications and Supplies

You may now come inside to pick up you pets supplies.  We simply ask that you wear a mask and maintain social distance.

We are still offering “drive-thru” service if you prefer. Simply call us from the car when you arrive and we can process your payment

over the phone and bring the items directly to your car.

Our suppliers currently have adequate stock level of our normal products but deliveries may be longer than usual.

We ask that you avoid stock piling more than is reasonable for your pet or we may quickly find ourselves facing backorders.

We are also encouraging clients to order food and supplies directly through our webstore.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we adjust to these new circumstances!
