What to Expect

If you’re new to Royal City Animal Hospital, we want to welcome you to our little family. Our team is committed to working with you through every appointment, no matter how big or small your pet’s needs are. Every time you come to the clinic we want you to be part of the process because you know your pet better than anyone. When you’re here, you’re very much part of our team.

There are many reasons you might visit the clinic, and our staff will take care to understand the emotions you feel while you’re here. No matter what’s happening, being at the clinic should always be a positive experience for your pet, it is a high priority for our team.   There are always treats on hand and a team that’s genuinely happy to help your pet.   Belly rubs, snuggles and kisses (for your pet) come free of charge!

Your First Visit

When you arrive at our clinic, you’ll meet with members of our front desk and veterinary teams, who will guide you through your entire appointment. We’ll start by weighing your pet, and then talking about their medical history and current condition. We provide you with ample opportunity to ask questions. Our veterinary team will examine your pet and we’ll discuss the reason for your visit.

If you have a new puppy or kitten, we want their very first experiences to be positive ones and we do everything we can to ensure that happens. We look forward to working with you and your pet.
